Sand knows Iowa inside and out. He will need to continue to address the unhealthy fiscal status of Iowa. Laura is correct about Sand’s donor base of ordinary Iowans. I was surprised that Republicans ended up with a gubernatorial candidate without the decision going to convention. I look forward to a purple state.
