Is this really a race? It looks to me the Republicans selections were made to place a strawman in, that carried a whole lot of baggage, who selected another person for Lt. Governor, that also had a whole lot of baggage. My guess is they would rather lose than take over the desaster they created over ten years of control mucking up the States finances and declaring everything they did was saving the Tax payers money, when in fact it shifted the responsibility of paying the taxes on to those least able to pay them. Rather than cut taxes for those on the bottom, they cut taxes for the most wealthy and then turned the screws on what was left of the rainy day fund by creating the "voucher program" that was decimated by the increases the voucher program went through. Republican's simply don't want to take the heat for the failures they created and would sooner tell the public that the Democrats are to blame!

I would be interested to know how big Wulf's farming operation is. $936,505 is a lot of money.
This may be indication of very poor management skills. I hope Sand pushes the issue and follows up on his refinancing efforts. A look at his tax returns and financial statements would be interesting. If he really wants to be Lt. Gov. he should make these available.
